4-19 Thanks to all the wonderful people who volunteered, contributed, performed, sponsored, attended and/or organized this year's Festival. As the Festival grows each year, we continually are learning ways to make improvements and many good ideas have been already discussed.   We are still getting our totals on $, shoes and food donations and will be posted soon. The Festival itself grew probably 3-fold (as it it did from year 1 to year 2) in #s of attendees and participants.  We ended up with 5 new sponsors to join Discount Tire and Security Title which include Serv Pro, Cartridge World, All Access Merchandise, Moonwalks and More and The Wellness Center of Franklin. There were numerous local companies who participated and/or contributed at the Festival for the first time and we hope you'll continue your support next April. Some of these include: The Fun and Party Zone, Holts Towing, Sonic in Spring Hill (SH), Exit Realty SH, The UPS Store SH, J-Bird Portables, Lipscomb University Volunteers, Thompson's Station Church, The SH and Brentwood Fire Depts., the Vanderbilt Baseball Team, Publics in SH, O'Charlies in SH, The Star Wars Guys, T-RAC, and Logan's Steakhouse in SH.  Please support these companies/groups throughout the year.

Please email me for any ideas to improve next year's Festival at Digby@realtracs.com  Pictures will be added to the site soon and DVD is in production for next year's sponsors.

4-7 Sorry for the lack of updates. The Festival is growing quickly as the website had 1300 unique visits in March. Egg Fest was another incredibly enjoyable day of fun for everyone there and want to send out special thanks to Kim Swanner (Security Title), Pat Walk (Easter Bunny), The Fun and Party Zone for some great prizes, Papa Johns and Publix for Pizza and drinks, John Gillis (Cartridge World) for the candy. We also had donations from Blockbuster video and Logan's Steakhouse. Check out the pictutres on the Egg Fest Page for a guaranteed smile.  We will be doing a brief walk thru with all the sponsors and participants on Thurs between 4-7. Just take about 10 minutes to do and will guarantee that spot on Sat am. Festival day will be 1st come basis and set up starts at 8am. Gates open around 12. We are receiving new events for the festival from local companies daily and still need a dunking booth if anyone has access to one that can be donated. Contact Darrell with posabilities.

3-31  All I can say is WOW!! The Festival has taken on its own life now and I have no idea how big it will be this year.  We just received a new sponsor for the Festival. Serv-Pro in Spring Hill has joined our sponsor list and we are very proud to welcome them aboard. The Spring Hill Fire Dept has been included this year as well.  Plan on some good eating whenever they come around. They are kicking off a campaign to raise money for a child fire safety house where children and adults learn what to do in a house fire. Sonic in Spring Hill, The Franklin Wellness Center, The minute clinic in Spring Hill, Back to Health Family Chiropractic, are just a few of our new participants this year, and the list grows each day.  All we need are prayers for great weather and everything else will be super.  Egg Fest tomorrow for Special Needs youth at the Tennessee Children's home from 4-6. Volunteers show up around 2-3. Make sure to use the Kedron Rd entrance around back. Look for Egg Fest Banners. Thanks for all the volunteers work as it is definitely starting to show.

3-21  I'm Getting many calls each day about the Festival so just wanted to thank all of the volunteers for their hard work in spreading the word. We will need approxiamately 40-50 volunteers for the day of the Festival and 10-15 for Egg Fest. Click on the Volunteer tab to sign up. We have a great start on Egg Fest participant sign-ups and it should be an incredible time for everyone there. Bring your camera!!! The Spring Hill Fire Dept will be at the Festival again this year showing off all of their cool stuff to the young ones. There are very few FREE events anywhere in our area that will provide this much entertainment to families while helping others in need.  T-Shirts will be ready by Thursday to pick up. They won't last long so please order early so we can re-order if needed. 950 at 8am tomorrow radio show.

Hall of Fame song writer Jerry Foster featuring Stella Parton (Dolly's sister) have agreed to perform along with a host of other extemely talented musicians will keep the atmosphere festive no doubt.  Unfortunately we lost a valued sponsor in Community First Bank today and need a replacement asap to fill in. They were expected to be an Event Sponsor for $1000. Flyers are now being altered now so please do not send out with their info on it if possible.  Pre-order T-Shirts asap by emailing digby@realtracs.com

3-12 We are excited to offer shirts this year! We teamed with All Access Merch, a local and wonderful company here in Middle Tennessee, and made shirts to spread the word about the festival. You can get shirts the day of the festival, or contact us to get a shirt pre-festival to bring attention to the cause! We will have both adult and child sizes!

3-11  The music part of this year's festival is coming along very well.  Our Festival flyers are being distributed through-out the city along with our Soles4Souls collection boxes this week. We are still trying to locate additional sponsors as that is the only part of the festival that is not ahead of schedule. We are discussing having a "Show Car" section this year and make a great sponsorship opportunity for a company. Our press releases and media campaign will begin over the next couple of weeks and steadily increase until the Festival. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far as IT KEEPS GROWING!!

3-9 We are proud to announce that local musical sensation Kelsey Muse and her band will be performing this year at the Festival. Kelsey has her own unique, edgy pop/rock sound and a knack for taking past hits and rearranging and reviving them to make them huge crowd pleasers again. Her original songs grab you as they talk about real life experiance that everyone can relate to. Two of these have been chosen for an upcoming movie about gangs and youth violence issues around opur country and is slated for production this year. We are very happy to have her perform this year as the music section of the festival continues to grow.

Banners will be put up around town on March 17th. Soles4Souls Collection boxes are ready for distribution. If you would like 1 just let me know. Festival Flyers are being printed and distibuted in next 2 weeks. We NEED donations for Egg Fest asap as April 1st is coming quick.
